A gentle rhythm for the Sanctuary weekend
Sanctuary is intentionally structured, but held loosely.
There is a clear rhythm to each day so your nervous system feels safe, while still leaving space to move slowly, rest, and listen to yourself. Nothing here is rushed. Nothing is performative.
Over the course of the weekend, you’ll have time to experience every part of Sanctuary without needing to do everything at once.
🌙 THURSDAY — ARRIVAL & SAFETY
Theme: Arriving without doing
Thursday is about landing.
Guests arrive into a calm, softly lit space with gentle music and no expectation to jump in. You’ll be invited to settle your body first before engaging socially.
Tea is available. Shoes come off. The pace drops.
Dinner Together
Our first meal is simple, warm, and grounding. This is about nourishment and easing into shared space, not conversation pressure.
Opening Circle & Candle Intention
We gather briefly to open the weekend.
This is not about deep sharing or explaining yourself. It’s about orienting to the space and one another.
You’ll hear how the weekend will flow and light a candle with one word you want to feel while you’re here. Sharing is optional.
The night closes early so your body can rest.
🌿 FRIDAY — BODY, POWER, REGULATION
Theme: Coming back into the body
Friday focuses on helping your system settle and reconnect.
Morning Arrival into the Body
We begin outdoors with slow, intuitive movement.
This is not yoga and there is nothing to follow or get right. You’ll be guided through gentle swaying, grounding through the feet, simple breath, and optional hand-holding or soft sound.
This time exists to remind the body it is safe to move again.
Soft Power Workshop
This workshop reframes power as something internal and steady, not loud or forceful.
We explore power as presence, power as boundaries, and power without over-explaining or over-giving. Reflection is guided, discussion is optional, and journaling is available but not required.
“Removing the Mask” Self-Massage
This is a seated, clothed self-massage experience focused on releasing the physical armor we use to hold ourselves together.
We move through the jaw, neck, shoulders, chest, face, and scalp with an emphasis on softening rather than fixing. Intraoral jaw release is explained conceptually but never required.
The intention is to gently take off the mask of tension you didn’t realize you were wearing.
Open Sanctuary Hours + Lunch
During this part of the day, the house becomes an open Sanctuary.
There is no order to follow and no expectation to do everything at once. You’re invited to move slowly, follow what feels supportive in the moment, or simply rest.
Over the course of the weekend, everyone is encouraged to experience each station at least once, always at their own pace.
🖊️ Journaling Station
Gentle reflection with a few thoughtfully chosen prompts.
There is no requirement to write a lot, write beautifully, or share anything. You may write one word, a sentence, or simply sit with the page.
This station supports noticing what’s present, giving thoughts somewhere to land, and soft emotional processing without digging.
🔮 Oracle One-Card Pull
Before pulling a card, you’ll sit with a single question:
“What do I already know?”
You’ll pull one card for yourself. There is no guidebook interpretation and no one reading it for you. This station is about self-trust, not prediction.
You may journal, reflect quietly, or simply notice what resonates.
🔴 Red Light + Quiet Rest
A low-stimulation rest space using red light therapy.
You may lie down, sit, or rest your eyes. This station supports calming inflammation, down-regulating the nervous system, and resting without needing to sleep.
Silence is encouraged, not enforced.
🌊 Buddha Board Slow Task
Using water, you’ll write or draw on a Buddha board and watch it slowly fade.
There is no meaning to assign and no result to keep. This practice gently reinforces impermanence, letting go of outcome, and allowing something to be unfinished.
Many people find this surprisingly grounding.
🚶♀️ Soft Connection Walk
An invitation to take a slow walk outdoors.
You may walk alone, walk side by side in silence, or have an unstructured, gentle conversation. There is no destination and no pace to maintain.
If it feels supportive, you’re encouraged to pair up with someone you don’t already know. This isn’t about networking or deep sharing, just experiencing what it feels like to move alongside another person without pressure.
You’re welcome to speak, or not speak at all.
The pool, hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor lounging areas are always available as ambient rest spaces. Floating, sitting, sunning, or doing absolutely nothing all count.
Demystifying the Pendulum
This class blends grounded explanation with intuitive practice.
We explore how pendulums work through subconscious signaling and nervous system awareness, alongside intuition and inner knowing.
Each guest creates one pendulum and practices calibration and simple use in a supportive, non-performative way.
Dinner Together
Floating Sound Bath
Friday evening closes with a sound bath experienced in the pool, on mats nearby, or seated comfortably around the fire pit.
This is a receptive experience. You don’t need to participate actively. Just listen and rest.
🌑 SATURDAY — DEPTH, SILENCE, RELEASE
Theme: Letting go without force
Saturday holds the emotional depth of the weekend, balanced carefully with spaciousness.
Oracle Guidance
Each guest receives a short, grounded oracle reading using the Three Gates Spread:
• Where I am now
• What is supporting me
• What wants my attention
This reading reflects what’s already present rather than predicting or diagnosing.
Soft Shadow Work
This is not heavy trauma work.
Soft shadow work invites awareness without pushing for resolution. We gently explore what’s been quietly carried and offer it less pressure.
Prompts may include:
• What am I holding that isn’t actually mine?
• Where have I been asking too much of myself?
• What part of me wants gentleness instead of fixing?
Sharing is optional. Silence is welcome.
Open Sanctuary Hours + Lunch
Another long, spacious window to revisit stations, rest, float, or simply be.
Everyone will have time to experience each station over the course of the weekend, always at their own pace.
Dinner Together
Silent Candle Hour
A true quiet hour held by candlelight.
No phones. No conversation.
During this time, letter writing is included and strongly encouraged. You’ll be invited to write a letter to yourself. There is no requirement to finish it or make it profound.
You may also sit, stretch gently, or simply be.
Ashley and Lisa move quietly through the space offering grounded presence, Reiki support, or gentle connection with consent.
Moon Release Ritual
We close the night outdoors at the fire pit.
This is a simple release ritual. No processing. No sharing. No fixing.
We reflect quietly, release what’s ready to go, and close the container grounded and held.
🌅 SUNDAY — CLOSING & DEPARTURE
Theme: Completion without exhaustion
Sunday is calm and clear.
We share a light breakfast, pack slowly, and gather briefly for a closing circle focused on gratitude and grounding.
Guests depart mid-morning, carrying the experience with them rather than rushing out of it.
